FAQ
-
How do the digital packages work?
When you book a shoot with me, you can purchase the photoshoot and your digital package upfront. If you’re not sure how many images you would like, you can always purchase the lowest package which comes with 1 digital image - you can upgrade to more images at your viewing.

I've just booked a session. What do I wear?
When you book a session with me, I’ll send you an email with a Pinterest board which covers some ideas of what to wear and how to style. You’ll also get a pre-shoot consultation via phone call where we can chat through anything you’re thinking of wearing. In addition, I do have a limited but ever-growing client wardrobe of a few dresses in sizes 8-18 you are welcome to use!
-
When should I book my in-home newborn session with you?
When you are still pregnant! Newborns are at their sweetest and squishiest up to two weeks old so I would definitely recommend booking in your session while you are still pregnant. We’ll pencil in a date and can move it closer to the time if little one decides to come early or a bit late!
-
Do you offer posed newborn sessions?
I am trained in lifestyle newborn photography, so I can do a few simple wraps (you know when the baby looks all snug like a little burrito of love? That.) and some simple poses but I don’t do the typical posed sessions that you may have seen elsewhere, because I am not trained to do so and I love to capture that really natural, lifestyle feel.

What's the difference between Bespoke and Creative Portrait Sessions?
Creative Portrait Sessions are designed to be more accessible price-wise, but they are also limited to themes that I offer such as pressed daisies, butterfly vibes and body paint. They take place in one of three locations or in-home.
Bespoke sessions are limitless. There are options for composites to be used and they can be photographed anywhere (within reason). You’ll also get a more in-depth and in-person consultation where we build the concept together. The price is higher due to this being such a unique and bespoke service.
-
Do I have to get naked?
Absolutely not. For some sessions, based on the location and whether it is in-home, I will offer you the opportunity to do some tasteful, artistic implied/partial nude images. This is not expected whatsoever and is entirely dependent on what YOU want, and how YOU want to be represented.
-
Do you offer group shoots?
I don’t currently offer group sessions. If you would like to do a Creative Portrait Session with a friend, I am happy to photograph you together, but you will need to purchase the shoot and images separately.
-
Will my images be shared on your social media and website?
Only if you want them to. Before your session, I will send you a contract that explains the Terms and Conditions etc. On that contract it will ask if you are happy with me sharing your images on certain platforms and I totally understand if you say no - these images are for you and you can control what I do or don’t share.
-
I've booked a maternity/baby session. Can I bring my partner with me?
Absolutely! Partners are always welcome. Just let me know before the session so I can prepare some extra special poses for you both.
-
Do you offer refunds?
Once you have booked a session with me, you can cancel for a full refund up to 48 hours prior to the session. Once digital images have been sent, refunds are not accepted.
-
What if I book a location session and then it rains?
As much as I wish I could control the weather, I can’t. I also can’t shoot in the rain as it could damage my equipment. So if we are scheduled for a location session and it is forecasted to be bad weather, I will offer you a different date or an in-home session instead. I will let you know with as much advance notice as possible.

I really want a shoot but don't know which one is right for me.
Get in touch! I’d love to chat you through the options and we’ll set something magical up.
